MANAGING PARTNER

Daniel Bedoya has over seven years of experience as an accomplished mixologist at different bars in NYC and three years of management experience, including head bartender at Boom Boom Room (Standard Hotel), Manager at The third man and Creative Director at Silkroad. Daniel's love for the creative arts began at a very young age, focusing on visual arts such as drawing, painting, and photography. Quickly, he started to understand balance and flavor harmony in cocktails and fell in love with the craft. Daniel's style is highly defined by drinks that are interactive, innovative, and visually stunning, making them an experience in themselves.

After curating very exciting pop-ups for Silkroad - a modern mixology bar venture pre-pandemic, Daniel decided to take his experience to the next level by creating larger scale, well-rounded immersive experiences. This was how Retrograde was created, once the pandemic restrictions were lifted.

MANAGING PARTNER

Zuned is one of the two managing partners at Retrograde. Raised outside of Atlanta, Georgia Zuned studied law in Washington D.C. before moving to New York to work in banking at Goldman Sachs and then HSBC. During his time in banking, Zuned realized that he had a true passion for hospitality and event planning. Roughly a year ago, Zuned partnered with the Kind Regards/Make Believe partners (two of the most successful cocktail bars in the city) in opening a swanky new cocktail lounge in the East Village called Dingaling to amazing reviews thus far. Concurrent to this time, Zuned and Daniel decided to re-launch Retrograde in a post-covid environment and have held curated and thoughtful events with various partner venues throughout New York City, including the Selina hotel group in Chelsea. Zuned and Daniel have defined the Retrograde mission as one that emphasizes truly unique and immersive experiences that appeal to multiple senses and make for a memorable experience through music, art, décor and a client first approach.

PROJECT MANAGER

Lara was raised in a house of event producers with father owning a music production company in Serbia that organizes large scale concerts up to 200,000 attendees. Artists ranged from The Rolling Stones, Lenny Kravitz, Tiesto, The Police, and many more.

Each summer break during her college years, Lara would assist her father’s company with the production of these events and simultaneously grew a passion to take her experience to a New York headquartered company called IVY. IVY is a private membership community that organizes events for members with the purpose of enabling them to network with one another. Lara was their Events Director for 4 years whereby she oversaw the event execution of the company’s 6 different cities (NYC, LA, SF, Boston, DC, and Miami). These events ranged anywhere from an intimate dinner of 20 guests, to art gallery receptions up to 200 guests, and all the way to cocktail parties of 600 guests. Lara is looking forward to bringing her expertise to the Retrograde event at the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit and to create a smoothly executed and successful event!
